Also, the content can not be random; it needs to be centered on your specific niche. If your site sells baseball equipment, then you need to have pages of content centered on that topic.
Even if you have pages and pages of content, it still will not do you much good if it is not search engine optimized. Search engine optimization, or SEO, is the concept of utilizing keywords that people search for often. You need to put these key words in your content often, about once every 100 words is fine. Do not fall into the trap of spamming these keywords hundreds of times throughout your site. This is known as blackhat SEO and will get you banned from search engines quick. If this wasn’t difficult enough, the content on your site must also be original. If your site is just a carbon copy of everything you’ve seen before, then people are not going to stay on the site.
You need to offer something new that your competitors do not. In order to increase the traffic to your website, it is also important that you understand who your target audience is. Target a specific group and make sure the content on your website addresses their needs. Write your content as if you’re talking to them personally. Whether your target audience is stay-at-home moms, hunters/fishermen, videogamers, or any other group, make sure you are addressing them personally. Finally, make sure you build credibility.
Scammers are building sites all the time, so if people do not trust you they will not purchase your product. Be sure to add your contact information in order to make people more comfortable with your site. When you have good SEO content that is directed to a specific audience you are certain to have an increase in web site traffic.
